Is there a self-levelling floor compound which can be used on floorboards? I need to level my bathroom floor which is floorboards with a lino over the top. I know the process is normally to screw plywood over the boards but this would involve some very tricky cutting around objects such as the toilet and sink among other things.
In some cases it is nesessary to lift floorboards and put timber firings on top of the joists.self leveling compound tends to crack on timber over time.Also 30 mm is to much to take up.
